Ishow 2.3?

Hi.
I have a rgb laser i got from china a year or 2 ago, i purchased at the time ishow v1. it was the worst ilda ever.
I dont want to do big shows with it or anything just more a couple of words etc, can someone tell me if ishow 2.3 is better then v1. I dont want to spend more than $150 if i can help it.
