Looking for a large clear aperture Phillips prism, these are used with 3CCD cameras but all I can find are small ones, anyone have or know where I can get a fairly large one relative to what are in cameras? I found a manufacturer in China, see the photo above, but no answer from them when asking about single lots, they make them up to 50mm clear aperture.

    Thanks

    Chris

    Hi Chris,
Would the color combiners from 3LCD projection televisions work for you? Electronics Goldmine has some in the ~25mm range.
I have also found nice 4 inch dichro sets in older 640x480 video projectors.

Are they the same configuration or a cube? I have some cubes in hand already but from what I'm told, the Phillips prisms combine R,G,B lasers better to produce a nicer white beam... All of this is going on other peoples suggestions, I have little knowledge in this area.
