    I had the pleasure of getting to know Mr. Nimoy around 1978 when he was a guest narrator for some concerts we did with various symphony orchestras - playing music from Star Wars, Star Trek, Close Encounters, Holst Planets, etc. with lasers, concert lighting, big sound and pyro (ala Led Zeppelin). Unlike Spock, Mr. Nimoy had a great sense of humor - a really funny guy. RIP.

    I remember playing hooky from school after lunch to watch
    the weekly transmitted ST on numerous occasions. I was
    a happy camper... My Mom and school principal not so much.

    RIP Leonard... You always kept me tuned in.
