We already started a "wish list" sometimes ago, in this thread : http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...ead.php?t=2338

My first wishes is : how to correctly use the "change color" functionnality, to for example gradually change the color from blue to red during the time of the scene? It works not very often
Only the "complete morph" works well all the time...

    That Mamba morph function:

    select a scene,
    select 'morph',
use the 'frames start/end' sliders (next to the scene begin/end/length controls) to select the range of frames you want included in the morph.

-The results are a bit unpredictable as there doesn't seem to be any way of mapping the points, but it does work!

Now to work out how that wacko colour change works!

I think yesterday evening I finally discovered how this color change works, after a lots of investigations

    So, try that :

    - Select the scene you'll work with, in the timeline
    - Change the color of the scene (with Pick color). Take the blue for this example.
    - With the upper left color wheel, turn clockwise the wheel until you see a change in scene the preview (this will happens around when the wheel's color matching the scene color). Set the wheel just after this change happens.

Now you can see that during the scene preview, the color will do a complete color loop (from blue to red). Now, to change the color range :
    - With the lower right color wheel, turn it clockwise until you reach the green.

Now you can see that the color will change progressively from blue to green.
If you turn further the wheel (to pink for example), the color will change from blue to violet, and so on

The color-morph funtionality is very simple. (allthough a bit excentric)

All colors morph as saturated as possible through their gamut.
Normally if yellow would morph into blue, it would go through grey.
    That looks kinda ugly.

    Thats not possible with mamba.
    A blue-into-yellow-morph, always goes blue -> cyan -> green -> yellow.
(or blue -> magenta -> red -> yellow)

You transfer the from-range of colors into the to-range of colors.

The upper left colorwheel dictates the begin of the from-range.
The upper right colorwheel dictates the end of the from-range.

The lower left colorwheel dictates the begin of the to-range.
The lower right colorwheel dictates the end of the to-range.

    So for example,
    if your frame contains red-yellow-green-cyan-blue-magenta
    (r-y-g-c-b-m)
Set the from-range on yellow to blue
Set the to-range on green to cyan.
You get a morph into a frame that does not contain cyan and red.
    (b-g-y-m)

    with the same frame
Set the from-range on red to magenta.
Set the to-range on blue to blue.
You end up with a entirely blue frame.

You got a frame with a yellow, green, and cyan circle.
Set the from-range on red to blue.
Set the to-range on blue to red.
    yellow morphs into cyan.
    cyan morphs into yellow.
    green stays green.

You can even cycle a colored frame with the from- and to-colors staying the same if you turn the to-range wheels "around-the-clock"

White or grey points are NOT affected by the color morph ! (unless you have recolored the frame with the recolor tool)
Also you can't morph colors into grey or white.
