    Default Phoenix-tech PT-A40 scanner dimensions?

I can't seem to find a diagram anywhere on the Lightspace site.
Has anyone got the dimensions please?

Most importantly the width and depth of the heat sink on the amp. I need to work out if they'll fit in a tight gap. They 'look' less wide than the DT amps but I need to know by how much.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

If no one else chimes in, when I get to work later this morning, I'll see about checking for you. I don't think I have anything to measure in metric at work so, it may be in inches.

It's rather tight in there so I can't get it exactly against the heatsink plate but, it appears to be 60mm x 38mm.

    You star, thanks.

Is the galvo block roughly the same as DT30/40 block?

I believe it's smaller. It's also a normal beam height whereas in my experience, the DT block always needed a riser.

Excellent, good news, although i suspect not quite 506 mini

the DT block always needed a riser.
Or a steering mirror Still don't know why more people don't use them, drop in any block of any size, tweak a screw, good to go!

    No... definitely not 506 tiny!

I belong to that camp that tries to get the scanner block up rather than use a steering mirror. It's the same with double bounce configurations into your dichros. Yes, it makes sense from an alignment standpoint since you can get a projector aligned in a snap that way but, I've just always been told that anything put into the optical path - mirror, dichro, whatever, is going to give you losses. With the higher powers we're working with these days, I guess it's less of an issue but 4-5 years ago when I started getting into this, a 1 watt projector was an expensive beast and losing 200mW in optics was a major trauma.
