    it seems on picture 2 that is an transformer with a primary of 220Volt, this one should be replaced with a transformer with a primary of 110 volt with the same secondary output voltage.
    If you can find one bring it to FLEM I'l bring my solder iron if needed
    sample;
    something like this http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/sto...10001_85008_-1

    I may add it to the pile of stuff for FLEM anyway. I'm discovering the problems with driving there over flying. There's always room in the car for "just one more thing" (hat we'll likely not find time for!)

    you should drive to my place....

    with a giant trailer.
    suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

    As long as the trailer is filled with cash on the return trip.

    TBH, switching out that transformer should be easy to do. A soldering iron and solder sucker should be all that's needed. Brad, I reckon you could do it.

    You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

    I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

    I'm not so much concerned about swapping it out as yes, I probably could. I'm more concerned if it works after I've done that or if it needs 240v for a reason of some sort. And, I guess finding one with the same footprint so it matched up with the existing holes. I may need someone a little more well versed in electrickery to say here.... buy this one.

    Yes, I mean buy the 110v version of that one. Same footprint and pin out.
    Might. Just want to get some pics of the rear of the board to make sure the input doesn't go via anywhere else, but it should be good otherwise.
    Get some better pics of the writing on the tranny and I bet someone can give you a link. Failing that, have you asked Kvant if they have a 110v board to just swap out?
    I thought the point of buying the expensive stuff was for the support

    I did PM Pelikan earlier today and am awaiting a response.

    I put the whole thing back together earlier so, I'll have to open it back up again to get the board off the standoffs and see the other side. Maybe I'll have time again Sunday morning.

    Easy fix, just swap out that tranny, for a 110v version, just make sure output voltages are the same.
