Default New Single and Dual Diode Modules/Housings

    Hi Folks,

There are two new diode housings (monolithic design) for sale. The first one is a single diode mount, the second is a dual diode mount for PBS beam combining.

The pictured modules are prototypes. So the surface doesn´t look as smooth as it will be when the mass production starts next two weeks.
The back cover plates will be made of aluminum and not as pictured of brass.

The will be available within next three weeks.

In both modules is enough space for anamorphic prisms or cylindrical lenses.

    Single diode module:

Very nice, I'd like to get one of those, I will be keeping a look out for them on your lasertack.com web page.

Which one? Single or dual diode module?

    Both

I need one of your knife edge assemblies too, just waiting to get some money head before I can buy them.

Excuse me, but for a dual setup with a pbs....don't you need a wave plate if you want to use a prism pair ?
Maybe it's better to knife edge them with a prism mirror ;-).

Let me think about that and i may be in for two dual setup.

Exactly. It is for use with a pbs and waveplate.

You can still use a knife edged beam of two diodes but the space between the two diodes will be expanded as well. So the power density does not increase. The beam gets larger. Thats all.

I'd expand the beam afterwards anyway, no problem for me.

Any change this might ever be made for the 5.6 mm diodes?

Sure, when there is demand for more than several pcs.

I can't see any wave plate mounted in the pictures, is there a mount for your wave plate included?
Is there a cube out there with a wave plate coated on that I don't know about? That would be sweet =)
Edit: I might be in for a few! They look good and compact.
