    Default Waveplates for 520 ?

I'm looking for waveplates or polarization rotators that work with 520nm diodes. Anyone know where to purchase ?

Or anyone tested standard 532nm waveplates on the 520nm diodes ?

    Thanks.

I just bought some from Stanwax for 520 diodes.

Oh great, glad to hear they work with 520nm. I saw them but as it didn't specify assume they were for 532nm.

    Thanks!

It says all green wavelengths in the description. Could always just shoot Rob a PM or email and check

I had forgotten but what was reason for shifting the polarization for an RGB projector?

Its got nothing to do with RGB projectors specifically.

Adjusting polarization allows you to combine 2 or more beams with a PBS cube whilst maintaining the same orientation of the 'stripe' in multi-mode diodes. This is important where correction is applied after combining by cylindrical lenses or prisms.

Usually with diodes of the same wavelength (although not necessarily - but it's easier/cheaper to combine different wavelength diodes with a dichro filter)
