    Default Scanning Laser Pointer

Here's a neat old laser pointer I think this group will especially appreciate. It's a 1996 Toko model TLP-200 laser pointer with a 635nm output of <2.5mW, and it includes a scanner. The two power buttons on it are for a circle and a line, and the thumbwheel on the side controls amplitude. The circle is shown in the second pic. It's an ellipse with major axis spread about 2 degrees. Gotta love the Japanese!

dsli_jon: you see, this pointer was assembled back in times when the function of such device was a pointer and not a balloon popper/match lighter
