suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
i would absolutely LOVE THAT!!! did u mean live or pre-recorded???

Hey Adam, I sent PP a few days again, in some spare moments I found lying about. I also just realized that I didn't put any proper info into the transfer. The email that it is coming from is similar to my PL name so that shouldn't be too difficult to figure out. I will probably need a medium shirt this year.
Looking forward to seeing you all again!
Hey Sal;
Check the first post in this thread. I always update it when people register. I've had you on the list since the 12th!
Though I had you down for a Large shirt (which is what you got last year). So I've changed that to a medium.
Indeed! It's going to be a great time!Looking forward to seeing you all again!

Reading this thread: http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...124#post313124 got me to thinking... (dangerous, I know) but:
As a SELEM "demonstration/lecture/talk/seminar" topic, who would be interested in sourcing the right person and ask/hire them to show up, set up a projector on the stage in the auditorium and actually go through and demonstrate the process of displaying what gear and how, one would properly set up and measure any one of our given shows with US legal audience scanning output.
Say for example, buffo's Rising show. In seminar fashion, have them walk around the seating area of the auditorium and explain where they would actually place a meter at what parts of the show to take the samples. Is it clamped to like a camera tripod sitting in a seat? Would they decide to check the show from row C seat 13 and then again in row L seat 7? Why and where? Show HOW to take the samples, then take the samples, calculate the data, pick the safety scan lens based on that, re-test and finally... play the damn show with us in the audience to see what it looks like.
Anyone??
Ah Ha! So you did get the last room after all, eh?
Cool deal! Breakfast is going to be a zoo at the TrottHouse this year. Ann won't know what to do with 5 rooms full of laser geeks! (Definitely looking forward to that)
This is a very interesting topic. I know that Greg Makhov from LSDI could do this, as I've actually watched him do it at two separate ILDA conferences. The question is, would he be available to do this, and as a follow up, how much would it cost?
I contacted Greg earlier this month about the possibility of doing another LSO class, but he has been traveling and hasn't gotten back to me yet. So yesterday I called again, and I was able to speak to Phyllis about both ideas. She said she would pass it on to Greg, so hopefully I will have some more information soon.

Oh hell...
Something's amiss! I'm gonna give Ann a call right now.
Edit: got her voicemail. Hopefully she will call back soon so we can figure this out...
