Randy should be able to fly that one! True, he's not type-certified, and it has likely been a while since he's pulled pitch in earnest, but I think he can figure it out. (For damned sure none of us could ever fly it!)
So I guess we just need to take up a collection so we can win the auction! Bid is at 200 grand at the moment, although the reserve hasn't been met yet...

Hey, I know exactly where that one is parked, too!!
Nah, too many powerplants -
2 engines AND an APU.
Provided it's not full of tourists, you could feasibly lose an engine and still fly all the way to your destination, albeit a bit slower.
Where's the excitement in that?
Pretty sure I could fly it -
but getting it started would be a bitch...

Humm.... It "would" make getting stuff back and forth to SELEM a heck of a lot easier!

It will burn through around 350 gallons (internal fuel tanks) in about 2 1/2 hours, at roughly 1 gallon per nautical mile!
Current average price for Jet-A is around $4.56/gallon.
But, on a positive note -
with the proper rigging, it could probably sling load "most" of Brad's gear in a single run...
I think Brad should go for it...

Agreed! Fuel costs of $1,600-$1,800 each way is a small price to pay for arriving in Newton in style!
I've got a mental image of the flight going something like this, but with (safe) lasers instead of weapons:

"Help, help, I'm being repressed!"
You know.... I'm thinking I may just place a bid for $210,000. It won't meet the reserve but, at least I can say I tried, just for shits and giggles.
