Default Buying a 12X24 optical breadboard

Who has the lowest prices? or is anyone selling theirs?

So far best price I found was 267.00 from Newport with 10.50 shipping not bad for a brand new Newport
    http://search.newport.com/?x2=sku&q2=SA2-12

For some reason Newport is discounting them 5% Original price was 281.00

    Thor Labs is 282.30

There's a used Thorlabs on eBay:

    Thorlabs Optical Table Breadboard 24 x 12 x 3/4 in.

$219 - that's about what I paid for a used one several years ago.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

swami is correct but if you are willing to run it through a table saw (11tpi I believe is the standard off the top of my head) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Optical-Tabl...-/230832907796 send the "waste" to the BST section.. The amount of holes on that + only .25" rather than the holy crap this is heavy 3/4" (which is much more stable... ) The other choice is to convince chad to do a run of breadboards on his mill for a group buy...

Still looking for one of these? I just got a used Thorlabs 12x24x0.75 breadboard in. It's got a bunch of double sided foam tape on the bottom, but is otherwise in good shape. $175 shipped UPS ground.
