    Default 3w RGB Module Build

Ive not done much laser stuff at all recently, but in an attempt to bring some life to this forum I am building a 3w RGB modules. full diode with all beams corrected and drivers included within the housing.

the module is fully designed up in CAD but this is as far as ive gotten so far -

more to follow in due course

That looks great.. What diodes are you planning to use and will
They be corrected with prisms and or cylindrical lens?
    Please post progress pictures

I think you'd probably get a dual of each on a baseplate not too much bigger as well. I think that is likely to be my next projector build project.

Seriously nice and shiny though, I get 'lathe' envy every time I see stuff like this...

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

id probably agree a bit bigger and adding more diodes wouldn't be an issue, but problem would be red.

red multi mode beam or go down the single mode route.

6w will be a future project

I'm definitely going the multimode red route - 2 or even 4 combined with cube, cylinder correction and cleaned up my masking in the telescope. Its not pretty but works remarkably well I've found. Certainly for beams and not too bad for graphics. The stacked single mode reds aren't a whole load prettier in my opinion anyway.

    1W 520, M462 and P73 combo.
