    Default Remote adjustable Dichro mounts

Medialas just came out with a really cool wireless adjustable Dichro Mounts… I guess my current 30Watt build just got a little more expensive…

Damn! There goes 6 months of my spare time buggering about with Arduino and tiny stepper motors! :/
If in doubt... Give it a clout?

they won an ILDA award in 2007 for this. I saw some guts pics a few months back (can't find them now, but they were on their site) and it looked serious with flat flex cables/ very modern manufacturing

I just think that's an awful lot of money to do what should take just a few minutes to do before an occasional gig. If I have to adjust an alignment on a projector even say, 4 times a year and it takes 10 minutes each time. How many years do I need, for this device to eventually pay for itself. Especially if you have multiple projectors and have to install it in all of them. Yes, there is the "cool factor" but, it's still a high priced toy. Oh wait...... this is lasers we're talking about. Never mind.

Haha yes it's a high priced toy like every other laser related thing

But the main advantage is that you can place yourself at the opposite wall of the room where a test pattern is projected, and align that by yourself to the perfection with the projector sitting high on a truss! Priceless, IMHO.

Very good point. Seeing as how just about every show I do has the beams terminated 102 feet from the projector, that would be a very handy thing!
