Here are some pics of a mobolazer i rebuilt that was submerged in sandy the electronics were shot and replaced with what you see here the motors were rusted solid and were also replaced

Are you using full reflectors on all the mirrors? Doesn't look like much if any is getting by.

The Mobo's I've played with all have semi-silvered mirrors on the first 5 positions.

Did you salvage the logic board and motors from a scrap mobo or...?

the dmx board is from

the motor drivers were from ebay dont remember from who but they were cheap (like $5 each)

in the video it may have cheap mirrors on actuators but they were replaced with better mirrors and 3 of them got 50/50's

as for the motors those were trashed but i still have the motherboard somewhere

Heartbreaking though, as I'm sure the experience was, it's nice to see that it's being restored.

That looks to be a Viasho head? Let's hope that's not the second heartbreak. Viasho just simply scares me a bit.

yea i did this rebuild last year before my summer shows and it worked perfect
as far as this being a viasho it is but luckily it had problems a few weeks before sandy so it was out for repairs during the storm
