I'm looking into buying this scanner to use with an expanded laser beam, it's too big to into a pointer and runs off of AC, but it will be my first chance to work with a scanner, although made for an LED, I need the big mirror for the fat beam, I'd modify it to allow a laser to be coupled with the mirror, removing the LED's:
