    Default Can modulation stop working?

I've almost finished putting my projector together to find that the green is no longer responding to my FB3. Its one of the ones that when the modulation isnt connected the beam is on. However when connected to my FB3 I get no output. I've tried connecting it to the blue output but still nothing! I've checked anddouble checked my wiring.

    Any ideas

    Cheers

Is there a option to invert the output from the FB3? Thats the only thing I can think of ???

Not as far as I know, the system was all working before I started assembling it for the final time

There must be some connection trough the baseplate or FB3 you don't want.

-Try plugging out the USB cable and watch if the laser comes on.

-Try taking out the green laser so it has no contact with the projector base.

Isn't the FB3 single ended for the RGB?

Have you check the polarity for the RGB, making sure that the positive isn't connected to the ground

    Thanks guys.
Laser works with no signals going to it.
Will remove the laser from baseplate shortly.

Yea I believe they are single ended. Polarity is correct. Using pins 6 (+) and 19 (-)

The other thing you could do is draw a circle in white and send it to the scanners then measure the voltage coming out of the FB3 on the RGB pins

Just make sure there's no blanking (or disable blanking if you can do that)

This is super weird. With the green not connected to the FB3 I get a reading of 3ish volts (pin 6 +ve). When I connect the green I get -3ish volts. And when I connect the modulation direct to a 5v supply i get nothing.

    mmmmmm strange

I've tried removing the laser from the baseplate aswell.

It was all working fine until final assembly - nothing has changes that I can think of.

Have you tried connecting the blanking ground to the ground pin 25 of the ILDA input as between pin 6 and pin 19 is differential and your laser is a TTL blanking unit that I think needs to be wired to the ground pin.
