Yea just got them in. In the limited testing I have done on them they seem to perform near the same as the HL63133DG as far as power and beam specs.

Bloody confusing having 520 in the model number - I thought these were greens!

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

same here, thought this is a green piece from Mitsu.

BTW 170-180mw seems to be a limit of SM red diode? Anyone is dreaming about 1W level SM red diode like me? The junction will be toasted?

If these mitsus are like any of the others, with adequate cooling, they'll probably do 250mw without breaking a sweat.

    Ok, I kill mine

I just order two more, but first I need more data.
I think, I kill this because I adjust the bias and forgot to check the Gain, it went to 315mW from the
    300mA that I originally put.
So this look to be very sensitive.
And I found two different data sheets one with max. current of 290mA and tip. of 230mA,
and the other with no max. data and typ. of 215mA.

    Need more input.......
    or experience.

    Cheers,
    Ed
PS and yes they are case isolated.
