    Default good shirt guy

There is a member at LPF who does GBs for shirts and pretty much does it for no *real* profit- I wore his shirts at SELEM all black w/ GITD front and back- he has scouted all sources for the best shirt quality and best GITD- I PMed him 2 years ago about making a run for the SELEM event or just PL- he was doing these as Ts or hoodies.(other options may exist)- I am sure you can find MUCH cheaper Ts and GITD but it will not be as good...

When we have shirts made for our high school robotics program they are between $8 and $10 per shirt.

I like Jons idea of having multiple designs on a website somewhere where I can pick which one I want to print/buy.

@swami how much are your shirts and how custom can they be? The shirts you showed are not my cup of tea but some of the other designs I've seen on say your DAC and other things are closer to my style. I also have some fractal designs of my own that might be cool. Maybe PM me with details?

The thing I liked about 'Spreadhirt', is that you are able to upload your Own art / position / scale, etc - across various Designs / T-shirts, ie: Made both B & W-backed ones, for 'SoCaLEM'...

ID:	47362 ..etc, and then - even before committing to making an 'official Store' - you can sort of have your own 'mini-Store', in your Profile.. ie: I can log back in, anytime, and re-Order those same Designs / choose a different T / color, etc, and get Printed-up / Shipped, etc.. And, I believe you can, indeed, 'drop ship', so, the 'extra chunk to go back to PL', would not require that whoever was in charge of the Orders, would also have to 'field the fulfillment' side.. Just I/O the $$, send appropriate-chunk to PL, and a few clicks later, Spreadshirt takes care of the rest.

..Point I'm making, is I don't see it being a 'Full-on Storefront or Nothing' situ, with them.. You can 'try it out', w/ just a personal acct., and if it is all going smooth / growing like gangbusters, then you can transition to the 'storefront' offerings they have, etc.. And, the Quality / durability of their printing / T's has been great..

..Not that they have anything on SwamiWear™ mind you.. Nothing will top sporting a nice laser-cut, latte-tinged kokopelli on yer chest..

That first shirt looks like the creature from the movie alien that clamps to your face, it loos so good it;s kinda creepy in a good way

Oddly at my budget i am toying with the idea of a single mode 650nm laser diode or fuel for my jet ski, i don't know what to get, i am dieing to get out on the lake but the beam diameter to my class 4 blue is annoying

I will chime in and say that I don't like back prints because they make wearing the shirt when you might be working on a show simply horrible. They get extra sweaty where the print is and its horrible.
I've got Robe and Pangolin Beyond shirts like this and they don't get worn on shows for that reason.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Agreed, $20 for a regular Tee is steep. $8 is normal for a single ink. What $20 gets you is a good solid base layer of white with 2-3 layers of very high quality glow in the dark ink.

This looks amazing on black, but I have gotten light blue, brown, pink, grey, and yellow shirts printed on for myself and my kids - in Tees and as hoodies.

When it comes down to it, if you want high quality GITD that doesn't fade after 10 minutes, it's simply going to cost more than a regular white or even fluorescent ink. However, the cost is really driven by quantity. The more shirts ordered, the closer the cost will get to eliminating the setup costs. I think without setup, the base cost with 2 sided glow in the dark is $15ish.

In case you're wondering, yes, I am the one that set up these shirt runs. If you have questions, please do ask! I'm just here to help distribute awesome shirts (and get one or two for me on the way). There really isn't any profit for me aside from maybe $1 per shirt for logistics.

TY for joining- I love my shirts from you!
@ Gary- shirt/printing prices since then have gone up-everywhere- that must have been at least 5 or 6 years ago - what is not more expensive these days??

    - MY cook-off team has been buying shirts 16 years now-- (no less than 500 per order) and cheap shirts are just not worth owning- unless you plan on not wearing or washing them.

That's a pretty common price. All the printers I've dealt with charge about $1.50 per side with a single regular ink. The Hanes Beefy-T at cost is about $5.

There are tons of different brands of Tees and weights and cuts, etc... I've personally been impressed with Port and Company's Essential Tee ($4 cost). Neck isn't too tight and I don't feel like I'm wearing a sweater in the summer, and it's not too thin for the winter either - in fact, I love the long sleeve version.

Just got a quote back from my printer. With the white base ink, AND glow in the dark ink, front and back, it's $6.50 per shirt. (assuming we run 500 of them)
That's a fantastic deal considering the ink he's using!

I'm willing to do the leg work for this.
