    Default Kvant Spectrum 2.5 watt

    Hi
Info Need on the Kvant Spectrum 2.5 watt laser
Can anyone give me an idea of when this model first came into production
I have a chance of buying one ex demo model like new complete with case and cables for £1,500
Or would i be better off buying a new 1800 watt Clubmax

Found out they were made in 2012 so getting on a bit
The seller says its had 20 hours use

Im guessing the clubmax might be a better option

I believe it's all diode so, you're actually probably right. The Spectrums are nice units though. I have a couple of the 1.6's. I really don't need another projector in the 2.5 to 3 watt range though but, it's a good price for what it is. Especially for someone in the UK.

20 hours is essentially brand new. I have several that arrived with 12-16 hours of burn-in on them (not Kvants, but still...)

From the listing: "all measurements are actual output out of the Projector after optics so an equivalent Chinese Projector would need to be 4 or 5 watt to produce the same output"

LULZ, right. It does say Kvant on it after all... that must be good for some mw right there.
