suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Oh!! ok, ok. Your builds are fantastic Chris, congrats.
Why you go along with 4mm instead Dave's F2 colis? easier stacking? better LD centering?
    thanks!

Also, we have a little divergence to play with on that axis as it is still slower than the fast axis after expansion.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

    Thanks.

2 primary reasons we chose the 4mm..... We had a budget to work with, so price was a big deal. Second, when I measured the beam at aperture with the china G2 I must have made a mistake. I thought the beam was a little smaller than it turned out to be. I knew the beam would be a little big. I thought the losses would be acceptable with the 4mm. oops!

Oh, and I was also trying to match with the B and G

looking back.... the 2mm would have been a better choice

I'm still thinking going with G2 for red +prisms is a brilliant idea.
I've noticed china G2 sometimes comes with not very well centered lens inside...so beam out is very angled and uncentered from LD housing (asymetric wings and so on)
However no problems with DTR's G2... perhaps bad luck with my samples
