Default CNI OEM-H-532-1W running very hot

I have put together with a friend 2 identical projectors with the CNI OEM-H-532-1W.
One of them starts nice, good white balance but after 19 minutes it heats up and drops from 1.4W to about 100mW.
I would like to know if any of you have info on how to verify the drivers configuration for the peltier driver.

Thanks in advance, here is a pic of the driver as a reference:

more pictures of the laser and setup, got feedback from cni that they are on a business trip and suspect the tec to be defective, anyone with knowledge on how to measure and test this?

This is pretty common with the H series. I have had a few go bad. Its the driver and tec. they are not very stable and seem to break a lot. I ended up just replacing mine. I know that's not what you wanna hear
