    Sorry,

Its fresh from a hospital, i want to convert it to do outside beamshows,

I expect it should be good for 30-40 watt pulsed,

You will need a set of scanners capable of withstanding that amount of power and associated hardware/ software. What is the beam diameter and pulse-width/ frequency? Do you have experience with high power lasers, and high voltages?

I understand about the scanners etc, i use Pangolin hardware for my other lasers, up to 4 wat rgb. thats the biggest yet,

This type of unit is new to me, but i fancy a challenge, electronics and high voltage isnt a problem at all, i have been in that game for years,

I havnt got all the specs on the laserscope yet, i think the divergence on these is pretty bad, but for beam shows thats no problem,

I have no experience with this type of laser. Maybe someone else will chime in. How big is this thing? -(just curious)

Its big, about 800x800mm maybe 1200 high, heavy aswell, most of the kit on top can be scrapped, its all medical stuff and a monitor,
There is a chiller on the bottom,

There is another laserscope post you might want to read. There is some more info.

Awesome. Best laugh I've had all day.

Re Laserscopes, alt.lasers has a lot of posts on those. Only thing I can think of is that if you can couple to a fibre, you might get very good beam quality. Beam shows actually need very low divergence to look good, especially on the scales of outdoor shows.

The best way to lower divergence on these things, is to expand the beam, and use a pair of large apputure scanners.. Fiber wont be a big help here.
