That pretty much how I did mine. Mine isn't very precision but it is such a huge improvement.

Sadly, no. I got these from Andrew (Lava) a long while ago. He may still have some but I doubt it.

What is also significant is that If you look at the third image you can see the two wings are slightly offset. If one of the prisms was rotated just a tiny bit these wings will line up and the multimode bands would appear crisp (you can just detect them lurking in the central spot). A spatial filter could then be added to knock off the wings and the ancillary stripes and the spot would shrink a lot more.

Very true. I didn't spend much time setting this up. I just wanted to illustrate to Brad that this is actually pretty simple and not too complicated to do if he wanted to add this blue laser (corrected) to a beam table. I mainly got the idea for this from your cylindrical mounts that let you adjust the focal length of the telescope, as well as the axial alignment. I just don't have the machine shop that you do so I bought all of these pieces online and they work well!

Seem's simple enough... now I need to check to see if there is enough space in a Q-Beam for this to be possible. That may be tomorrow's project.

I know. This is not a criticism. I brought it up to illustrate how easy it would be for Brad to generate a really nice beam.
