    Issue 1:

I'd put my money on a bad power supply. Check the outputs of the power supply with an analog meter if you have one. Or just replace the supply.

    Issue 2:

I'd start at the ILDA connector, power up the unit and apply +5V to the input on whatever color you are having a blanking issue with.

    Hiya
Will have a closer look at power supply 2morrow and can replace the whole galvo kit and kaboodle in about a week but for the moment just a bit confused. Power supply on the face of it seems fine ? surely and issue with that would effect both galvos ..........possibly issue with X amp ? but this confusing me as repalcement of the X galvo creates different issue ( vertical line ) instead of clicking .just wondering of theres a way of narrowing it down .or if its some kind of earthing issues .......... all my probs always seem to come back to earthing issues !

    Prettymuch what David says..
Id check the supply too, maybe it has a bad load.
maybe that x amp is bad.

As far as the other unit, Check each laser separately for proper blanking or lasing by applying 0v and 5volts.
Check that all your grounds are common.
If your using analog..Id check the DAC outputs too..
Ive seen easyLase dacs analog outputs fail.
