It seems his passing has gone largley unoticed over here in the UK. Im not an avid reader of newspapers but I have not heard a peep in any media about this. A quick search on the BBC news revealed nothing and the Daily Telegraph website suggested I had mistyped and was really looking for theodore main????

Well at least he will be mouned here and on alt.lasers.
