My bad; this was sorta a message to CDBeam, who built some some of the parts for my laser "Brewster", which is built into a beer keg. Lasers out the bung hole.
I keep meaning to write this up for PL, and will, but in the meantime, here are some teaser pix of the first iteration of this:

    Hi Dave!

I am interested after receiving a pair of DTR of these lovely diodes.
With my 4x lenses i was able to bring it down to 40x10m @ 23m distance.
But very close it was already something like 11mm which is waaaay to wide.

Have also send you email. hope to hear from you soon, couldn't find the lenses on your website else i would have already ordered!

    Kind regards,
    Dimitri
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

Well....a set of 6X cylindricals really tighten up the divergence....IIRC.... 0.65 mRad !!! Very tight
    .
Small, very thin and wispy artifacts....above and below the spot.....(likely could be greatly reduced with a spatial filter) when static....but...when the scanner starts to swing the beams around....all is perfect !!
    .
    Thanx Dave,
