Default CANCELLED - SELEM side trip - Moog Music factory tour...

Any SELEM analog synth enthusiasts interested in a side trip to Asheville Friday morning to tour the Moog synthesizer factory?
Asheville is around an 1 1/2 hour drive from Newton.

The AM tour starts at 10:00 AM ~
I figure head that direction right after breakfast, take the tour, get a little hands-on time in the show room, lunch in Asheville, and back to SELEM early Friday afternoon.
The tours are free, but need to be coordinated in advance.

I could provide the transportation for 1 or 2 folks if there's any interest.
Post here & let me know!

I bet ImageLight would be interested. And Asheville is loaded with great places for lunch.

If I were actually smart... I'd leave a day early just to hang in Asheville before heading over to Newton.

Yeah, I kind of figured ImageLight might possibly be interested.
I know there are several other synth enthusiasts on PL; just not sure how many are on our side of the pond!

I've been interested in taking the factory tour for just about as long as I've been attending SELEM ~
Since I'll be traveling that leg from Knoxville, that might turn out to be an en route side trip even if no one else is interested!

Great to see other folks are interested!

I'll give this a few days to circulate, then I'll give the folks at Moog a call and let them know our group details.
Should make for a pretty cool SELEM side trip!!

That does sound cool! Although I will have to pass. Too much else going on.

As for everyone else, please check with David Kumpula on the schedule before you commit to this. I think a few people have things scheduled that day. (We can move them, but we need to know in advance so the signs are updated accordingly.)

Ed, I'm pretty sure you had a router demo scheduled on Friday. Also, Brad, I think your Laser 101 presentation was on for Friday. (Mine is Thursday) Also, just a reminder, Friday is Newlin's pie-day...

Please,please.... ask them if it would be so very very difficult to modify product so that that cosine shifted sinals (90 degree shifted) were present on all/most internal signals ...specially low frequency and envelopes! Click image for larger version.

So much easier than trying to extract this info from already created/mixed sound signals !
    Cheers
