    Default Tool for LDS users

I've coded a small tool called LDS Catalog Mover.
With this tool you can open multiple .CAT files from LDS and copy/move frames between them.

Maybe there are some LDS users who find this useful...

If you find bugs or have ideas to improve the tool, just PM me...

My Lasergraph DSP and LDS shares the same file types. The only problem that cat is a directory (xxxx.CATL) on DSP, when on LDS it's a file. I wish there was a program to extract all .pic from LDS cat to directory without opening them up one by one and then save as.

    New version 0.2...

    added:
    - german language
    - an option "Goto last used frame"

See link in the first post for download...

    @Dr Laser:
I've already heard that DSP and LDS share the PIC file format, but I didn't know that the DSP has the library in a directory instead of a CAT file...
Maybe I add the option to save the cat file as series of .pic files...
How are the files labeled? Just the number of the frame?
    Maybe you can PM me...

Lasergraph doesn't have one file catalogs at all. It uses regular directories named SOMETHING.CATL and this goes for all catalogs including fonts which are named ARIAL.CATL or WAHTEVER.CATL. Structure of font directory is exactly the same as for LDS. #lo_A.pic #up_D.pic etc. Internal structure of graphic catalog is: 00000.pic to 99999.pic but this is only for sequential animations so animEd (DSP animator) will place them in order. They can be called anything.pic whatever.pic ball.pic just as long as they are all inside of directory with extension .CATL or .CAT.

    From DSP manual

A catalog (*.CATL) is a specific directory of the Lasergraph DSP. It is required whenever individual pictures that have been created in the picture editor are to be stored.
Generally, a catalog contains all of the pictures of a show. A show can be put together out of pictures from a variety of catalogs.
All catalogs containing pictures for a given show must be saved in the same directory as the show itself, as the program will only seek the catalogs and associated pictures in that directory.

Other really usable option will be to import a directory full of .pic and then ability to save is as a .cat or export it as a directory full of .pic. There are many other things could be done. Like lds ilda import export. Palette converter.
