Video tracing with Beyond Ultimate.

Hi all,

Is it possible to trace a video file with Beyond Ultimate I used TraceIT in the past but it keeps on crashing and I can't find anything in the Beyond manuals.

Need to trace something very soon.

Have you contacted Pangolin regarding TraceIT crashing?
As its current software, I would imagine they'd want to know of any problems so they can fix them. It might even be soon enough for you to use it.

It might be because of the resolution of those videos or file formats.
Also do mention what method of tracing you are using in trace it. There are I believe 2 tracing methods which are rather slow and heavy making the program seem frozen and clicking will make windows assume the program has crashed.

Beyond 2.1 Ultimate has video tracing. Beyond 2.0 doesn't to my knowledge. I can't comment on the efficacy of the built in video tracer as I don't have a 2.1 licence.

Hi PJ, nope...2.1 installer is not out yet. I hope it is coming next week. The first thing i did was send the crash report to Pangolin, so I hope things get fixed, or explained why i can't trace my movies.
I can't choose a tracing method, the program crashes as soon as I load my .avi file.

I don't believe it is yet although now doubt some people may have it (although I don't).

The information on Video Tracing was taken from Pangolin's Comparison table on their web site and is public, I wouldn't have mentioned it if it wasn't.

I installed K-Lite Codec Pack and everything is working 100% again!
