    Default 445 vs 465

Wow looking at 445 next to the 465-70 beam is a huge difference. It is almost as drastic as 405 vs 445. Pictures didn't capture it but here are some beam shots. The 445 has better profile as it is using an olike lens the 465 a g2.

I think your camera captured the color difference very well. Mine camera just has trouble with blue. It always looks deep violet, no matter how much I adjust the exposure settings. From my experience, going from 445 to 462, the difference was striking. I like the color. 445 seems a little too deep.

    I like both… that's why I am using 12watts of 445nm and 14watts of 465nm in the projectors I am building now.

I am thinking the same. Mixed with 520nm I am wondering how close this could come to looking like an Argon.

Time to dig out Chroma.... Now where is my asbestos suit?

I have found the closest argon emulation is 520 and 473.

Hmmm. Let's see how far down the wavelength chart new diodes will go. 445 to 465 is a great start, more than I was expecting...
