Default New laser show - Uptown Funk

This was spun out of a discussion we had at SELEM.

There were a couple of folks who had made shows to this song and dkumpula proposed we all do one and compare notes later.

I don't really like pop music, but this song was not as awful as most so I agreed. I think I've managed to come up with some effects that are unique, or at least fun.

    Enjoy!

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

I am extremely impressed. This was magic. I just wish LSX was a bit easier to master. Someone obviously have a professor title in handling LSX.

Awesome! I like the effects at the end - 4:10 to 4:18 or so (and others too!).

Nicely done Swami. Another great show for your library. Can't wait to see it in person.

How hard in LSx is it to convert this two a two head show. Be neat to run scan thru on only part of it.

Wow! 2:00, 3:00, 4:11 and 'the kiss' at 0:30 . . are my favorite parts. Its a relatively long song with one different effect after another - most of it quite unlike effects in your other shows. Rhythm and timing all excellent in my opinion. Tons of fun to watch.

We'll have to have a "Funk-Off" half hour in next year's SELEM auditorium schedule. I've got my beams-and-screens version mostly worked out in my head, but I need to get to work. In any case, we look to have more show versions to this song than anything except popular Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin tunes!
