    I bought one of those prisms on ebay from a Sony camera a few weeks ago to combine r,g,b into white but haven't gotten around to trying yet.

    Curious to see the shapes here - the RGB one block combiners I'd seen were like so

    Are they no good for laser combining? I'd wondered about conditions at the central point where everything meets but it's past my understanding of things

    Here are my results using the trichroic X-prism: http://edweslystudio.com/Research/Tr...Trichroic.html It seems that it could work for scanning, but not so good for holography. The trichroic used here came out of a video projector.

    That is interesting! I wonder if there's a relationship between the size of that ring and the size of the central interface between all the cube sections, but I'm guessing - just instinct says more complicated junctions = mo' problems
