Listening to it now. I can potentially do a lot with this although, it's a shame you're only using one laser. I have visions with at least 3.

I know this well. Olympic Spirit is a signature tune for my old high school for parades. My director even received an autographed score from John Williams as a retirement gift.

I've never tried to make a show for anyone for money so, it will be minimal but, I have recently been doing a lot of shows in Quickshow and I actually have some quiet time next week to attempt it for you. We can move this to PM's if you like.

It's done... with 2 hours and 30 minutes to spare before deadline. "Stressed" spelled backwards is "desserts" and I think it's time to go raid the freezer for some ice cream as a reward.

We (at least I know I) would love to see the finished product.
It's always fun to see someone's vision for a sound.

I think I heard that some people see colors when hearing sounds.... I mean sober at least. That would make it a little easier to compose a show maybe.
...and remember, it's not how far you go. It's how go you far.

Humm... I have a dilemma with that. Well... maybe not. Possibly next week I can play it and video it and put in on Youtube or something. I don't feel as though I can post the show for people to download... here, or on the Pangolin site for example, because this gentleman paid me to commission it. I think I'm probably well within my right to play the show for people. At a LEM for example. And, he's more than welcome to make it available to people should he want to but, I don't think it's ethically right to just post it for public consumption when someone else just paid for it. Video, sure but not posting or sending the show to someone.
    .
Laser shows in general sometimes present sticky situations about the rights of performing them or, transferring rights and so forth. I almost ought to start a thread on that topic. I've paid for a lot of shows. Sometimes for big money but, it's still somewhat fuzzy about what one can and can't do with them at that point. Some will never see the light of day.... well, "light of dark" is probably a more correct term. Yet you still may want to recoup that investment in the future though.

I completely understand. I am more interested in the creative element so a video would satisfy me just fine if that's ok.

I want to finish up a couple of my Quickshow files to share. It's a lot of fun but a heck of a lot of work. I am making some money on shows I make for weddings if they request a custom show for a little extra fee. I have more fun doing my own shows to my flavor of music (working on a few Grateful Dead and a Bob Marley songs I may post on this site).
...and remember, it's not how far you go. It's how go you far.
