    Default BBe mounts drivers

Ordered for the first time a couple weeks ago, products arrived no problem from Russia with tracking.
I ordered some 9mm, 5.6 centering mounts and also some drivers.

The center mounts are awesome, so easy to get centered on the short FL lens now. Very happy

    9mm had real good tolerances.

The drivers, just hooked one up but so far so good. Easy walking setup. Will test a few other things later when I have more time. Only wish would be for 5-6amp drive, but I only have a few diodes I push that hard so not a earl big deal that these are 3amp drivers.

Looking forward to to the 3channel + tec driver, let me know once available.

Glad to hear that those adjustable mounts are working out well as I just ordered some of those last week. I wish they had a mounting bracket like other mounts though. I guess I'll just make my own out of high strength alum.

I got some of his drivers as well and been pleased thus far and ordered a few more. Reliable beam suppression that kicks in below a low mod voltage (~0.1V), analog output that still looks great at very low levels on low power diodes (i.e. no jelly-beaning), overheat power-down (with an included thermistor) and of course basic features like interlocks, bias control and start-up delay . . all for a mere US$24. I think these are a great deal.

If you have the dual drivers, you may need to do the final set up with both channels driven. Logsquared and I found that we lost a bit of current over what it had initially been set for once the second channel was driven.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

I noticed this problem with some 3266 pots. Initially this looked great when I refused to use 3296 pots, more free space on the boards, etc. This was my mistake.

Now I'm back to using 3296 pots in my drivers:

I added electrolytes and removed SMD pots, added ingredients with high TCR values thus significantly decreased the temperature drift.

Nice, Bbe! Please let us know when/where these are made available for sale. As of today, I see on FleaBay US the prior version of the simpledrive 1 (which I really like) and your diode mounts.

    Cheers!
