Guess I have some stuff going.

I'm working on a full animation with a team for the next year.
I'm collaborating with the ex creative director of HB-laser on a graphics show *about to start*
and have plans to collaborate with Cory who worked at lightspeed design on a graphics show as well.

I agree that the market is changing and so are people building on their own.
I am working on a really small projector but saving a bit more for components to finish the build up right and I have plans of rebuilding my 650,473,532nm laser projector

Live playing is getting pretty stale to me I see it everywhere.. I especially don't like the spammage of lasers in a venue which just is a washed mess of beams without artistical value.

I've also finally found a market for offering realtime 3D laser performers which can be utilised on a stage and *not kinect bullcrap*
Aside from that I have added Animatronics to my list of things with specialised software which can run together with a pre-programmed lasershow.

Best of all it can be 3D animated easily or realtime puppeteered and recorded bit by bit or in one go.

It all sends signals to a control and controls servos.. you can change the range of travel.

And here something else I threw together with only a tiny fraction of the stuff I have made (some things are made in flash using my own technique to use actual puppet rigs!

The UK is h&s mad nowadays.

A few years ago 3 people killed themselves by looking down mortar tubes when they thought the fireworks hadn't gone off ! Darwinism at it's best. As a result morters were banned in the UK .

I have personally witnessed a neighbor my aunt do that with a large mortar. he was looking down the muzzle as it fired, the shell did a flower pot and blew the guys face off, he did live though. A passfire failure is always a dangerous thing to deal with, and for the life of me i dont know why he had his head over a loaded mortar and to my knowledge had a permit and education to handle the larger shells

I honestly despise the ban mentality some people in our leadership have, it dose not make people smarter or safer. If an accident happens and they always will as all people make mistakes. In a car accident you dont blame the car, it's the moron behind the wheel that needed to be banned.
