Default TEA nitrogen laser 1 oscillator and 3 amplifier 1MW diffraction limited

You can show my 4 stages megawatt TEA nitrogen laser Under : http://www.swissrocketman.fr/051-las...s,fr,3,230.cfm

What mechanism creates the firing timing or delay between stages? Velocity in the PCB should be ~0.85 C, Yes?

Ah that would work, no room for traveling wave in the PCB...
Very innovative... 0.5 mJ is respectable..

This is not new ! I have patented this system since 1980 and sale more than 60 lasers for drift chamber calibration (CERN, FERMILAB, ....) with a MOPALITE laser of 600 kW peak power using one oscillator and one amplifier of 150mm long http://www.swissrocketman.fr/lasers-...te,fr,3,17.cfm

Have you tried it with Neon for the green and orange pulsed lines?

You cannot modify a TEA N2 laser in a TEA Neon laser !

In 1966 AVCO EVERETT RESEARCH LAB commercialize the model C400 .This laser has a cavity length of 1000 mm and electrodes separation of 50mm.
The neon pressure Inside the cavity was 30 torr and the discharge voltage 45kV and 500A to 1000A

My TEA nitrogen laser has 2mm électrodes separation and 450 mm length .
I cannot work at reduced pressure with this cavity !

The problem at atmospheric pressure is to obtain in neon an homogen discharge

I enjoy looking at these old documents. Do you note that the combined shipping weight is 1000 lb for a laser that generates an average of 3mw of output!
