While looking through old newsletters this morning, I came across this ad for Pangolin. It's in L.A.S.E.R. News, vol. 8, #3, Fall 1988. I don't know when they started selling software, but this seems pretty early to me!

I remember passing on that version because it didn't support color or even blanking and you had to mod the Amiga's sound output to drive scanners. I bought LaserMax instead which ran on IBM PC 's under DOS and later X29 and FullAuto. I ended up with LD2000 though by the time I retired. Pangolin has come a long way. Cool.
