    Default DT40 Wide mirror handling?

I am thinking of building a high powered 455nm projector, perhaps 20 or more LD knife edged and PBS combined.

How do the DT40 scan mirrors fair with 20+ watts of blue?

I have observed my DT30 mirrors deteriate slightly over 4 years at 5W so I am thinking it could be an issue, especially at this wavelength.

    Thanks in advance.

IIRC they aren't much chop with much over 5w. Pangoscanners or EMS are probably your best option, especially for big mirror size..

Thanks Dave. I was worried this might be the case. Oh well, up goes the build cost.

Not sure of the DT40W power handling. The mirrors are tiny for a 20 diode build. Have you seen these diodes yet http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...-9W-Diode-Test? Might ease your "big blue" design a bit.
