Default A New Case ive been working on

Been working on a new projector case.

the plan is to make more, possibly even sell a few, so ive been making jigs for each part so making more will be easy.

just waiting on the heat sink to arrive and will be taking it to be powder coated Monday.

internal space is 250mm by 250mm by 110mm high. base plate will be a 40mm thick ally heat sink, so very strong and good for heat sinking. case is fully sealed, with no fans in the main parts. fans are mounts to the under side of the heat sink. designed to mount robs ilda board straight to the back, power in/out, ilda in/out, xy flip etc...

    That looks fantastic, Andy_con!

I'd love to get a mill to up my game, but I'm currently out of room. I have a second garage as a work shop, but it has an non-operational car in it. In South Carolina, every property owner is required by law to have at least one non-operational vehicle on their property, so the native South Carolinians don't feel out of place in the state of their birth. (I actually have two non-functional cars on my property because I'm trying to be exceptional . . . )

Lol, you can get some good quality mills that fit in a 1m by 1m space if you know what to look for. Granted they don't have the biggest movement but it's a start

Hi ! If you plan to sell some, could you please consider making some without the nrg logo (but leave the Andy-con copyright ;-) ) without x and y flip and without power out ? ( if i.m not the only one who asking for that of course..)

What the rear centered rectangle is used for ?

    Thank's

obviously if I was going to sell some there wouldn't be branding on them

why wouldn't you want power out? its a nice feature to have, if you don't want to use it just dont plug anything in.

surely XY flip is a must for each projector?

    rectangle is power on/off
