    Default Waveplate Rotation Mount

    i dont know about anyone else but the lack of rotating WP mount can sometimes be a pain, so im going to see if i can make mini versions of these -

    Andy, it's not necessary to make them rotate 360 degrees.

    Each aperture contains a halfway plate and is adjustable by the little lever adjacent to it.

    Jem I'm thinking laziness, you glue ya Wp on without a care in the world. Then just rotate till its right.

    WP from rob are 15-20mm big so I'm thinking 25mm holders to fit in modules

    In that case, glue the WP to a washer and stick it to a magnet. Positioning will be easy, then glue it in place.

    All my wave plates are mounted in holding rings. I just bore a through hole in a block of metal the same diameter as the clear aperture and counter-bore an indentation in one face of the block to receive the ring. The indentation is too shallow, so the ring protrudes allowing me to manually rotate the ring. A set screw in the top locks the ring in place.
