Sorry I just saw the post. I set up last week.
Most of my stuff is the same as last year. I moved some stuff around though.
Halloween night I will bring out the fog chiller, strobes and the laser projector. Usually I dress up and scare the kids and parents.

Awesome stuff! Accuweather has been showing good weather for the last few days for my area. Very little has changed for the 31st, according to them. It looks like I am in the clear.

Good luck with your haunts this year, fellas!

How much do you have wrapped up in your fog screen? I may have to build one of those. Really cool effect.
Does it look better front projected? It would get rid of the projector point of light that way.

They are a PITA to build. At least, this one was. I found a vendor on AliExpress that sells custom dimensions of laminar honeycomb for a really good price. The straws I used for mine took the most time to get laid down; took about 3 months and the patience of Job! I'm actually going to start work on a new one as soon as all of the holiday stuff is over. I'll definitely get a build thread going once I get it started.

Just like with laser light in the fog, the projection is brighter as it is refracted through the fog than reflected off of it. I am using a 2500 lumen projector and, rear projected, it strains to get a bright image as it is. With it front projected, you would have to have a really bright projector. I would almost say 5000 lumens to get the same effect.

I tend to be lazy on Halloween and other days too, i am told that my kind tends to be a bit lazy but one year i put my Tesla coil on my dad's patio and remotely triggered it when people where not expecting it, that was a hell of a lot of fun but now i am too rural to even bother, people take there kids into town.
I do think next year i will put a hand held violet ray generator into some form of costume and use a small inverter to power it, hell i think i have time to do that tonight

At the last minute I made a 10' x 10' screen out of some PVC pipe and some window sheers. I hung it between a big tree and my house and used it as a rear projection screen for my laser projector. I sat in the woods with my laptop and pressed cues for about an hour. I made the screen so that it can be disassembled and stored so I can use if for movie night or whatever else if I want.
