I wonder if Pangolin's re-branded cheap outdoor laser system ever hit the shops and if it was Christmas only or Halloween ready as well?

So sorry that you MI guys got rained on. That sucks. DZ, your setup look pretty damn awesome. When I get to work, Ill get some YouTube vids posted and put up a few pics here. Hopefully you all had a great Halloween.

Nice work guys. I especially like the guy in the electric chair. Saw one similar at Spirit Halloween but don't have anywhere to store it - already full of lasers, Halloween and Christmas decorations!
We got rained out here in New Orleans Saturday night too, so I did not get to setup my traditional lasers, lights, strobes & decorations.
But Friday night I did get do to some lights and lasers for my friends annual Halloween Party.
His theme this year was "Boo-gie Nights" so it was a natural to build a disco in his back yard! I hung 20' of triangle truss from the second story of his house with par 46 pin spots and red, yellow, green and orange Laser Chorus Vipers.
Then I hung 20' of truss with the same lights/lasers from his garage across the yard (dance floor) about 10' above ground. The par cans were controlled by a vintage LUMITROL 4 channel sound active chaser, and the Vipers ran off their Laser Chorus controller. I also had my Pluto II doing projections of graphics on a screen above the dance floor. All of the lights, lasers and truss were vintage gear from the mid eighties.
Took some pics with my phone but they don't look that great. Friday morning setup, house with truss and tarp for projecting my pluto: https://www.flickr.com/gp/73089464@N00/Q41Z8f

Also, My friend has a professional camera and agreed to take pics & video of the light/laser show for me. He got very distracted and this is what he sent me....
https://www.facebook.com/NewOrleansL...6425950441567/ It's much better video quality but he did not focus on the lasers. I'm lucky there is any footage of the lights and lasers, so I'm happy.
I had been looking forward to Halloween this year since it was a Saturday night. Let's hope next year is rain free.

absolom,
Very cool pics of your setup. I'll have to wait to watch the videos from home - the work computers block youtube (but I can stream SIRIUS radio and my coworkers can enjoy TMZ!)
How did you get the fog spread around? Do you have an underground piping system? I have two chillers but the wind always picks up the fog and messes with the effect. I have been thinking about digging up some of my front yard and burying some 3" PVC pipe with "T's" popping up in several locations to help evenly distribute the chilled fog. Maybe add a low CFM fan to help keep the fog moving through the piping before it condenses back to liquid.

Thank you! The way I do my fog is actually REALLY simple, almost comical. I use this. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Advanced-...0010/100211970 and cover it with dead leaves.
It is large so the fog can expand in the pipe and slow down. It also cools a bit too. It then seeps out the perforated holes and if the ground is cool and the wind is somewhat calm, it will hug the ground for a long while. It's cheap, no ice/dry ice needed, no fancy ducting needed... and it works great.
I got the idea from here:
If you're the smartest person in the room, then you're in the wrong room.
That's a great idea. The dead leaves do a good job of covering it up and adding to the creepy factor. I'll be sure to pick some up next year.
