Probably. My birthday is coming up and I need to get myself a present.

Thanks, but at this point, I certainly don't need "larger"!! My family will think I'm crazy enough with this one.

Here is the video, let me know if you have anymore questions. I will have to build a small crate to ship it unless I find the perfect box so shipping could take me a week once purchased.

Brad if this sells, we can talk about the larger coils I have after Halloween. I would have to build up a midi modulator for them to do music though.

I know that feeling, my wife luckily supports me in all my hobby builds, but thinks I'm crazy.

What about proximity to sensitive electronics? My g/f's daughter has a Omnipod wireless insulin pump. What's a safe distance?

    thanks.

edit: I do see the two videos on ebay. Is there a library of midi songs available for it? I know the MIT guys said they had to pre-process their midi tracks to work with the tesla coil.
I just downloaded files from one of the free midi sites. Loaded in anvil studio. Setup preference and hit play. For most playback I don't use anvil as I have had it lockup not respond. I have a high end audio editor, but figured I didn't want to demo it with a 5K software package.

Eh... what the hell ... I'll take it! But I have one simple request -- can you throw in a couple of spare distressed glass tubes or plates I can use in my own lumia box I'm building? Something I can mount on a little motor for rotation? PM me your paypal email address, and I'll send out a payment.

The ebay auction said that it breaks down easily into three different parts, so that should make it easier to ship, no?

    thanks!

It does but you have to unplug the hot glued stuff etc, easy once you see it but would rather ship it fully working with perhaps just the top load removed and fastened to the side. I'll check my box for spare tubes, but I think I handed out most of the extras at SELEM.
I do need to make another batch though as I am working on a lumia night light to paint the ceiling in Zoeys room. Was thinking I would do an acrylic globe as that is my favorite effect, but could do some tubes also. If you haven't watch my lumia rig video and let me know the timecode of you favorite effect and I can try to duplicate it though no two are alike.

So awesome! I am so glad I got to meet you and see your rig at SELEM.

    I like the lumias at 0:00 (right at the start), 1:33, 4:00, 12:30, 13:35-13:39(wow!), 14:30-14:35, 15:09

I like the tighter, smoother, brighter designs that are more curvy and fluid like. Thanks!

Let me know your paypal or payment info.
