Are those wheels i see on that orange monstrosity? Almost as bad as the people who turn up to gigs with orange power cables.

"Use the right tool for the job"
You can buy an actual proper stage lift for about the same money, so why use something that isn't intended for the purpose and is ugly as sin. Not to mention what might happen should it go over and the insurance company gets involved (and I'm not even in the US!) and find you've been using some odd jack to mount your lighting fixtures on....
