I'm not in the market for any new projectors as I'm very happy with the Stanwax Laser projectors I have but can I ask why have you and a lot of other projector manufacturers still not moved on from using 445nm Blue / Violet diodes to 460nm Blue diodes?
In my opinion the 460nm diodes give the best Blue colour, what I would call Cobalt Blue. Plus 460nm appears brighter mW for mW compared to 445nm.

    Just a thought.

While 460 (or 462) is a nice color. I know for myself personally, 445 helps to make a better white. Maybe that's the reason.

the increased color gamut from the deeper 445 blue is nice.
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

That I do understand and hence the reason why some self builds utilize both but I'm thinking more people would prefer the higher visibility over colour gamut when buying a projector especially for beam displays.

    Thumbs up

Indeed, the 445nm can give a better white balance color.
The quality of the beams is better than 460.

Thanks for your answer. Besides, i believe the the quality of the beam of 445nm is better than 460nm or 462nm

A fair enough answer but for me it would be 460/462 every time.
