A guy contacted me who makes and sells these things. After looking at it for a minute, I figured out how it is done. I thought it was pretty clever, but I wonder how many others can figure it out just by looking at the video. Can you?

AHA sorry guys. I swore I said "unlisted" but I think YouTube misinterpreted me... Anyway it should be working now.

As for Planters, everyone knows he's a super-smart guy ;-)

I guess there is a screen on the bottom (or maybe the top), with the animation displayed three times for each face tilted at 45° ?

And we can't see the screen from the point of vue of the camera because a kind of private screen sheet on it.

... yes, this is not a 'hologram', but three separate (flat) views in the bottom display, partially/individually projected/reflected on the three tilted tiles.

This is a pretty old methode for the '3D-pyramides' sometimes seen on stages - with bigger setups even people can move/perform inside the pyramide, 'accompanied' by the projected/reflected displays ...
