Looks like there are several hotels/motels in Tavares and Leesburg that are much cheaper. I did a quick Google search and found the Microtel inn and suites, the America's best value inn, and the Inn on the green all within a few miles of the boat house. I'm sure there are more. One of those has got to be cheaper than the Holiday Inn Express.

What I will mention about doing the "quick google search" is that the rates that pop up are a teaser. Both America's Best and Microtel were both considerably cheaper upon doing the same search but, once you actually went to their web site and put in the particulars about dates, the rate went up. I think for example Microtel said like $50 on the google search but about $95 when I actually tried to enter reservation information.

Airfare is cheap, car rental is typical but, WTF are these hotel prices... $350.00 for 3 nights at a Red Roof Inn?? Grrrrrrrrrrrr
Sucks but, I may have to pass on this trip..

Yeah I know.. I've even considered a few crack whore motels in the area but, as soon as the reviews said "cockroaches", that's where I draw the line.. Lol Now considering renting a cargo van and bringing a air mattress.. Ugh :/
Problem is, to get the airfare I want, I need 4 nights in FL and don't want to spend that kind of money on hotels because, I need it for SELEM in August..
