As the title says, I need a few (at least 2.. maybe 3 or 4) laser modules with the following requirements:

  • 8mm diameter BRASS housing, not plastic (the 'head' can be larger, but the main body needs to be 8mm)

  • GLASS line generating optic (preferably a single glass rod, though I know those are hard to find)

  • Built-in drivers (3vDC would be ideal [2 x AA batteries], but anything from 3-12 vDC I can work with)

  • Something in the 635nm to 650nm range with at least 5 mW actual output power (10-20 mW would be better)


I couldn't really find anything on FleaBay matching my needs, even from China. So, I'm hoping one of you nice folks
here might have what I need. The wavelength and power output are the least critical of all the criteria. 532nm DPSS
modules would also work. The most important factors are the 8mm brass housing with built-in drivers and quality
glass [line generating] optics.
