Just noticed you have a Clubmax laser. That should be entirely diode and so shouldn't suffer modulation issues. I don't have a Clubmax but I'm sure someone on here will and be able to confirm if they behave in a linear manner.

I have a spectrum and it's part diode, DPSS. I have mine set to linear modulation. I did notice some improvement in some colours when set to log but it totally messed others up so be careful which one you choose. Pity manufacturers don't provide modulation information with the laser as it would make connecting the laser much easier.

You're profile doesn't say where you are from. However, another person to contact might be Martin from Syncrovision.uk. He's the UK main dealer for Kvant and used to be a member on here. I'm sure he can talk through you through what you should and should not be seeing when modulating and the settings via email or skype even if not in the uk.

    Hi Again

I will try it with the settings of ( Analogue with Linear Response ) rather than ( Analogue with Log Response )
I was lead to believe you get better colours with Analogue with Log Response
    Maybe i was mislead

You get the best colours and response from the method that most closely matches the lasers modulation characteristics. Speaking to Martin might be your best course of action to establish both the correct modulation method and whether or not there's an issue with your laser.

I'm trying to remember, but from memory, (it was several years ago), using the wrong method for me resulted in all the lasers extinguishing @ about 60% brightness when implementing a BAM, whereas with linear, mine modulate down to around 20-30%. That's how I concluded linear was probably right for my laser. The colours do change shade though with brightness, but I have a DPSS green in there so it's to be expected really. At full modulation though the colours "out of the box" are now pretty accurate, and using Beyond, I can get them perfect.
